God Loves me to my Core!!

This month we have talked about apples!!! We read a wonderful book related the 3 parts of the apple related to the 3 persons of God. 1 apple, 1 true God! 3 parts of an apple (peel, flesh, core), 3 parts of God (God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirt). We talked about the how God made apples in different colors and different tastes. We taste tested apples - red and green. Ask your kiddo which one they liked better! We also sent home the October calendar.

Please add to your personal calendar NOVEMBER 6th is DAD's Day from 10-10:30AM!
We hope all of our Dad's can join us so we can celebrate all of your hard work and the love you pour out for your family and children. <3

Also, here are a few songs that you might hear your child singing:

(Tune from Frere Jacque)
God we thank you, God we thank you
For our food, for our food,
And for all our friends here, and for all our friends here,
Thank you God! Thank you God!
Thank you God for..... (and we put all the names of the kiddos in after we say "thank you God")
Amen!

(Tune Skip, Skip, Skip to my Lou)….
"Come, come, come sit down,
come, come, come sit down,
come, come, come sit down,
Let's sit down together!"

The kiddos are also getting SO GOOD at cleaning up and putting all of their toys on the shelves before we go outside! If they help clean up they get a star sticker on the back of their name tag. We listen to "Clean Up" from Super Simple Songs if you ever want to play it at home!!!

 Apple Trees!!
 Matching Shapes with Mrs. Clark!
Being so helpful and drying off the slide!

 We love the swings!!!!
Home-made play dough can be messy!!
 Cleaning up action!!
 Coloring our apple trees!

We always hold hand on our way outside!
We sing (from the tune of our clean up song)
"Hold hands, hold hands, everybody lets hold hands"
Fiona loves to sing that one on our way out!
We love our playground! We typically play outside for 30 minutes each day.
Fun in the sun!

We pretended to make green apple muffins!

A-P-P-L-E, apple for you and me!
