We have had such fun with all things Fall! We painted and made our own jack-o-lanterns. Students got to choose which shapes they used to make the eyes and noses of their jack-o-lanterns. I cut open our pumpkin as some of the kiddos were brave enough to play with the gooey, slimy insides!!
We collected leaves today and learned how crunchy they are! I've been focusing on describing words. We were going to do a craft with the leaves but the kids had much more fun crunching them and throwing them into the air! :)
On Wednesday we will wrap up our fall activities with a special apple cider tasting at snack time.
Happy Fall y'all!!!
Today we had a super special guest come - Christian Mother Goose (another teacher from CMLS). The children LOVED it and she told us nursery rhymes but tied in how amazing God is! She explained how Jesus can save us from feeling broken (Humpty Dumpty), and how we are like his sheep (Mary Had a Little Lamb). It was wonderful having her today!
