Adventures in Mrs. Kistler's Class: Ice Inside and Sunshine Outside

We had fun this week exploring ice and learning sequencing words (First/Second, Then, Next, Finally). These might be new to some kiddos so definitely something that you can include at home! We also played with article animals today and some of us learned what a Walrus and Orca Whale looked like! : )

I also wanted to share the phrases that we encourage at school, hopefully we will get to the point where we can simply say "Try again" or tell them to start with "Mrs. Kistler..." and they know how to finish their request. :) We have the sweetest class and they are all so capable to changing their phrases but I did want to share exactly what phrases we encourage!!
"Mrs. Kistler, can I have ____ please?"
"Mrs. Clark can I have help please?"
