Happy Veteran’s Day!

I hope you had a great week so far! We had fun learning about Veteran’s Day on Monday and we talked about the 5 branches of the military! They did a great job making their very own American flags! We also talked about two fun seasonal things today; scarecrows and owls! We made paper shape scarecrows and everyone did a great job using the glue! When you get your scarecrow ask your child what shapes they used! We read “The Scarecrow” and talked about his feelings throughout the story. At first he feels lonely and sad but in the end he makes some very unlikely friends! (Crows!!) It’s a very sweet book if you end up seeing it at the library!! Enjoy the rest of your week!
